The Netanyahu government entered full panic mode after Biden's shot across the bow. Here are the steps they have taken so far:
* Opening the Erez crossing to aid.
* Aid will come in through the Ashdod port.
* The IDF fired the Division 162 commander, Nachal Brigade commander. He also fired Nachal Brigade, chief of staff and brigade fire support officer, and reprimanded the head of IDF Southern Command.
The US is happy with these as a first step. National Security Council Spokesperson Adrienne Watson: "We welcome the steps announced by the Israeli government tonight at the President’s request following his call with Prime Minister Netanyahu. These steps must now be fully and rapidly implemented. ״
Hopefully, these are just the first of the steps Israel will take to protect civilians and facilitate the safe delivery of aid.
