Typhoon Yagi, described as one of the most powerful typhoons to hit the region in the past decade, has wreaked havoc in Vietnam, resulting in at least four fatalities and injuring 78 others. The typhoon made landfall in the northern provinces of Quang Ninh and Haiphong, bringing with it wind speeds of up to 92 miles per hour. This catastrophic event follows Yagi's impact on the southern Chinese island of Hainan, where it claimed two lives and injured 92, in addition to causing power outages in over 800,000 households. Vietnamese authorities are now grappling with the aftermath of the typhoon, which has left a significant mark on the country's northern coastal regions.
