India has launched a series of missile strikes targeting what it describes as terrorist infrastructure in Pakistan and Pakistan-administered Kashmir. The operation, named 'Operation Sindoora,' was carried out in retaliation for recent militant attacks in Kashmir that India claims were planned from across the border. According to Indian officials, nine sites were hit, including locations in Pakistan's Punjab province and Pakistan-occupied Jammu and Kashmir. Pakistan has confirmed the strikes and vowed to respond, raising fears of further escalation between the two nuclear-armed neighbors. The situation remains tense, with reports of intense shelling and explosions along the border.
